Home-made Juice

Ingredients

* The recipe originally called for 1 tsp black pepper, which was too strong to enjoy. We tried ½ tsp black pepper, and this seems like the correct amount.

Directions

  1. Chop carrots, apples, and ginger and add to the blender. Add 2 cups of water.
  2. Squeeze the juice from the lemons into the mixture. Add turmeric and pepper.
  3. Blend until it has a smoothie-like consistency.
  4. Strain into a bowl through a nut milk bag. Squeeze the bag to get all the juice you can out.
  5. Put the pulp in the blender, add 2 more cups of water and repeat.
